An opaque glossy white glaze with brown spots
Tip: This glaze has brown sprinkles mixed in. It needs to be mixed well, as the sprinkles tend to sink to the bottom. If you want more brown on your piece, you can use a spoon to collect extra sprinkles from the bottom of the tub and apply them to your piece while the glaze is still wet.
An alternative application method is to mix the glaze well to get the sprinkles suspended, then pour a little onto a plate. This will give you a puddle of glaze to work with, and the horizontal surface will prevent the crystals from sinking.
Brushes need to be washed very well, as small sprinkle particles can get caught in the bristles and contaminate the next glaze you use.
Instructions:
Mix glaze thoroughly for 5 minutes or until the glaze has a smooth and even consistency. Use a wide flat brush to apply 4-5 even coats of glaze to bisqueware.
- Allow each coat to dry between applications.
- Fires to 1280 degrees (cone 10)
